 AWARENESS PROGRAMME:

 

One day AIDS awareness programme was organized on 15th February 2003 where Resource persons from State AIDS Cell and an HIV positive lady who is acted as Counselor of the State AIDS Cell.

 

 

INFORMATIVE & INTERACTIVE TALK:

 

On 26th September 2003 in collaboration with the Association of British Scholars ( Assam chapter) an informative talk on Education & Scholarship Opportunities in U.K. given by- Mr. Victor Rao, Assistant Manager. British Council .U.K. was organized for the students of Cotton College & other colleges of greater Guwahati .

WORKSHOP:

 

Two-day workshop on GUIDANCE & COUNSELING was organized in collaboration with PRAYAS-an NGO for college teachers on 26th & 27th March 2004 where 30 college teachers of different colleges under Gauhati University have participated.

 

INTERACTION SESSION;

 

On 28th April 2004 an interaction session for the teachers of Cotton College was organized with Prof.Jane.E.Suhukoshe, Executive Director, United States Educational Foundation in India. Full Bright House. New Delhi to have interaction on- the aims & objectives of Full Bright Scholarship.

 

MOTIVATIONAL LECTURES FOR STUDENTS:

Two motivational lectures were organized on 30th November 2004-

 

1.  Career opportunities in Indian Air force, given by – Wing Commander Palit

2.  Career opportunities in Indian Army, given by-Cornel S.P.Sarma.
