Date of establishment: 1994.
History of the Department:
On 21st of November, 1994, the Bodo Department of Cotton College started on the endeavor of CCSU and Bodo Literary Society and in the meeting held in the KBR Auditorium, in the presence of Prof. Madhu Ram Boro, Late Bineswar Brahma (Ex- President, Bodo Sahitya Sabha) and other eminent guests.

A wall magazine, named, Khampha (The pillar) of
the Bodo department has been published in the
month of August, 2003. Bodo department is actively
involved in the publication of the yearly magazine
named ‘Cottonsa’ published by the Bodo
Literary Society of Cotton College.
